Our family is Denise, Brice, Gavin, and Ammy, along with Draper our dog, Comet our cat, and several thousand cherished plants. We’re living intentionally at Wholly Rooted Farm, cultivating a multigenerational haven with independent adult spaces and solid legacy planning for our home, future structures, and the land we love. We hold dear the principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, striving every day to honor the earth, our environment, and every living thing. This commitment shines through not only in our sustainable practices but also in the nurturing, interconnected relationships we cherish as a family.

Brice is a dedicated software engineer, tireless tinkerer, Formula 1 enthusiast, smart home aficionado, drone pilot, cider maker, DIY expert, and hands-on dad. He’s constantly programming around the house to boost efficiency and reduce energy use.

Denise is a Regenerative Herbalist and Certified Aromatherapist, a passionate permaculture and advanced social systems designer, herbalist, aromatherapist, natural perfumer, and medicinal herb grower. Denise has decades of experience running  businesses and nonprofits, consulting with small businesses for design, marketing, and branding, and has written over 200 published articles, and is an avid artist and photographer. 

Gavin, at 20 years old, is an aspiring video editor and producer with a passion for computers, collectibles, and connecting with friends around the globe through Discord and Zoom. He’s enthusiastic about organization, building innovative projects, programming our smart home, and he loves to travel—always on the lookout for his next adventure.

Ammy, 22, is a creative soul and accomplished artist specializing as a miniature model painter, crafting custom Warhammer 40K and Gundam models with incredible precision. Beyond her art, she helps shape the visual identity of Wholly Rooted, contributes to our educational course planning and video projects, and ensures our language is LGBTQIA2+ inclusive. An avid Formula 1 fan and walking encyclopedia, Ammy brings depth and insight to every endeavor.
