Jewelweed
This digital mixed media print is of Jewelweed, Impatiens capensis. This native plant is also known as spotted touch-me-not as mature seed pods explode when touched. It is found in Wisconsin along creeks, in ditches, bogs, and in moist spots. It is traditionally used in salve for poison ivy, poison oak, stinging nettle, and bug bites.
